The tapered shape of the blade is perfect for rocking cuts, allowing you to quickly chop up herbs or slice vegetables with ease. The fluted edge—also known as hollow ground or granton—allows for pockets of air to form between the blade and the food so that whatever you are chopping does not stick to the blade. This works especially well with starchy ingredients like potatoes.
The Fusion Classic line embodies control, quality, and long-lasting dependability. Featuring a German-steel blade of X50CrMoV15 steel, each blade offers excellent edge retention and stain-resistance. The modified bolster is angled to encourage a proper pinch grip on the knife, giving the user mastery over their blade. An ergonomic, triple-riveted ABS handle encases each knife’s full tang, giving the Fusion Classic substantial strength and heft. The ABS handle is dishwasher safe, but hand-washing is recommended.
