Grohmann offers our classic Rosewood in many beautiful variations. Ranging from deep, rosy brown to blonde strips, each handle is unique as no two handles are ever the same. Plantation grown mainly in East India, this special wood is selected for its durability, colour & rich grain. A good solid handle material that gets a better grip after use, but like any good knife with quality steel it is not recommended to be left soaking in water. Humidity can affect it slightly shrinking or swelling. Rosewood is always an excellent choice for a classic natual handle as no oils or shellacs are used, just the natural oils released during buffing give it its sheen.
